Maemo Summit “Sold Out”

This year’s Maemo Summit is proving to be more popular than ever. Call for participation has now ended, since the number of participants has exceeded the capabilities of the venue. There is a waiting list as the Maemo folks are looking for potential solutions to extend the participation capability.
Also the schedule is getting finalized soon, there’s only a few open spots and all the main speaker and topic slots have been filled. As was discussed in the previous post about Maemo Summit, the schedule is looking very interesting with one day coordinated by Nokia and two days by the Maemo community. Topics include more provocative ones like “The Changing PC & Mobile Landscape; Why Linux will play a Critical Role” by Jim Zemlin, Executive Director of Linux Foundation and the more practical Maemo development related like “Preparing your Qt Application for Fremantle and Harmattan” by Ian Monroe. Looking as a whole, the agenda seems very balanced and is certain to inspire, teach and motivate the Maemo community for the times after N900 launch.
